I think I made myself the perfect Gibson. I tried making it a second time a week later with the same ingredients, and it tasted as good as the first time. I switched gin this weekend (to none other than Boodles premium gin), but it didn't taste nearly as good as made below. Here are the ingredients I used:

Quintessential Gin
Bouissiere Dry Vermouth
Sable and Rosenfeld cocktail onion

Every drink I made was out of this world. You might be able to switch vermouths, but I wouldn't risk it. Dang, was this tasty. This may become my standard "martini" over the usual, olive-garnished assortment.
