A friend of mine told me about a saketini or sake martini.

Does anyone know the specifics for this cocktail recipe?

I use my favorite 'dirty' martini recipe and substitute Sake.

3 oz. Sake
1 oz. Vermouth
a splash of the olive juice
three olives


boring, I know, but I'm a beginner. I love Sake and I had some, so I tried this recipe. It's pretty good, but the SKYY is the limit (pun intended for the Vodka fans).

Nevertheless, I'm checking online, here, for any other 'Saketini' recipes...

Raspberry Rush

2oz Raspberry Moonstone Sake
1/2oz Monin Lavender syrup
1/4oz simple syrup
splash sweet and sour mix
Raspberries

Muddle 3-4 raspberries. Pour liquid ingredients, and shake cold with ice. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a couple raspberries. If you like it sweeter, sugar coat the rim. See a few other recipes here:
